Fara Heim

Hey People.

There isn’t much else to say. I caught the bus to the Keflavik International Airport. On the way, my music player was set to shuffle and as the coach drifted out of Reykjavik, The lights of the city disappeared like a distant memory as we drifted through fields of former fire.

Icelandic Musician Johann Johannsson’s “IBM 729 II Magnetic Tape Unit” A sad song echoing the final melodies played from the IBM 1401 before it was decommissioned forever.
